Description

This species originates from the Caucasus and is one of the oldest cultivated perennials. In Northern Europe it is usually very hardy and is therefore often used for permanent planting in parks or garden borders. Achillea filipendulina is also known of its yellow flowers who last extraordinarily long in dried flower bouquets.
