Below surface spreading plant builds very dense ground covering foliage. In summer bright shiny green turns to bright copper-red colour at the end of the season. The gentian blue flowers appear near the end of the summer and in autumn. Copper-red foliage and blue flower makes Cerastostigma a favourite choice for decorative autumn plantings.
